Divine Temple Church of God In Christ
L.C. Green, Pastor, Founder
Pastor L. C. Green was a resident of West, Mississippi. He completed Saints Academy and he attended Saints Junior College in Lexington, Mississippi. Afterwards he attended Mississippi Industries in Holly Spring, Mississippi.
Pastor L. C. Green is the founder of Divine Temple Church of God in Christ. By Faith he came to Green Bay, Wisconsin to do the will of the Lord: he is trusting God every step of the way. "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7). Pastor Green uses the spirit of God as his guide. His profound teaching and preaching has the ability to change one's life and bring them closer to Christ. Upon his journey to Green Bay, Pastor Davis his father-in-law advised him to "Pray yourself hot, read yourself full, and let the Holy Ghost take over." With much prayer and fasting, Divine Temple has grown spritually and financially.
According to God's own heart, the love that Pastor Green displays for his family is the love that Christ shows toward the church. God sent him to "...bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound" (Isaiah 61:1). God has appointed him to sing and preach under the anointing of the Holy Spririt. Pastor Green studies and searches the Word of God daily for a fresh anointing to feed God's people.

She is also, the Co-Pastor of the church and a true prayer warrior with great dedication in advancing the Kingdom of God. Divine Temple Church of God In Christ
Divine Temple was the first established Church of God in Christ in Green Bay WI. Our first service was held on January 12, 1996 in a small room at the YWCA in downtown Green Bay. Pastor L.C. and Missionary Alice Green followed God’s call and traveled for approximately two years while establishing the church. As the population grew they relocated their family to the area and made Green Bay their home.
The ability to be present in the community daily increased the visibility of the Church and the congregation grew beyond the capacity of the YWCA. A larger location was found on Morrow Street and the new building provided room to fulfill programs and activities that were vital to the spiritual growth of the church. The preaching, teaching and genuine love that Pastor Green and his congregation radiated throughout the community soon filled the space on Morrow Street. Once again a larger location was needed. With the guidance of God, Pastor Green and his dedicated Deacons, Divine Temple was relocated to 600 S. Adams Street. In this new location, the congregation continued to grow and with that growth the needs of the community grew ever present. At this time, Pastor Green had a vision from the Lord that called him to not only provide spiritual nutrients, but also to help provide some of the natural needs of the community. In order to make the vision a reality, a larger facility would be needed. On May 31, 2005, Divine Temple Church of God in Christ purchased a new facility at 425 Cherry Street in downtown Green Bay, WI. This building housed a larger sanctuary, a kitchen, a dining room, several classrooms and a beautiful courtyard. This facility allows Divine Temple to focus on assisting the community with programs that are necessary for growth.
